Kevin & Melissa Herrin are senior pastors of the multi-cultural congregation, The Fellowship of Texas City. They have been pastoring in Texas City since 1990. They travel the nation speaking mostly at youth events and have even ministered in Word and song, internationally, in Zimbabwe, Uganda, Turkey, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and the Philippines.
Pastor Kevin feels a mandate to prophetically call this generation into its destiny of divine partnership with God. He speaks to that part of us that God has predestined for fellowship and relationship with Him.
He is the chairman for N.O.W. Youth Camps, designed for high school and junior high youth that draws churches from all over the state of Texas. He is the Chaplain for Texas City Police Department and has served since 1993 on the mayor’s coalition board for teens in his city. Kevin has made guest appearances on at least ten recording projects as a recording artist and has released two solo projects of his own. He has two books in the works.
Pastor Melissa has an extensive history of experience in children’s ministry and excels in administration. She is highly instrumental in the development of The Fellowship’s staff and brings a fresh word to the Women’s Ministry. She and Kevin are parents to Jade and Jentry, which is their highest calling at present.

Most people remember the church they were saved in. For me, I will always remember the church God sent a word for me through his prophet, Rukins McKinley. At the urging of a friend, I drove down from Dallas and found your church. Tues night was pretty cool, but on Wed, March 25, the prophet called me out of the last row, and pulled me up front to give me the words that he said God told him he must give me that night. You can’t imagine the difference it’s made in my life. And the fact that you hosted and facilitated the atmosphere for that event is an incredible blessing to me. And in the background I remember hearing you sing, “anything is possible, everything is possible.” Again, thank you so much for helping to create what is probably the best moment of my life so far. The people of Fellowship Church are great. And I’ve never seen so many young people in church, ever! It was an awesome experience. And dude….you got a blog? That is so cool, man!

Kevin, you may not remember me. I met you about thirty years ago at youth camp. You were my all star coach and dean. I found this website by complete accident or maybe God led me here. Not sure. Just wanted to say hello and good to see you are doing good. You really helped me through some very confusing times as a young person.
